Australian Women's Sevens Head Coach, Tim Walsh said: "We play a game where single errors can cost you matches, and several errors cost you tournaments.

"We won five out six matches and showed great character to convincingly beat France to finish on the podium. In my three weeks with the program, I have observed and audited some key performance indicators unique to the team, and we will address these as the weeks go on.

"I am privileged to be leading such a talented and diverse group of women and look forward to unlocking their potential. I thought Maddison Levi had an outstanding tournament, as did the omnipresent ball players Charlotte Caslick and Maddison Ashby," Walsh said.
